The work is easy and fun because "many hands make light work". There will be strong people on each team to do lifting and tough digging for the 15-gallon trees.
We meet at Lower Libbey Parking Lot and caravan and carpool from there to planting locations around the Ojai Valley.
You will be assigned to a team of volunteers to start in the morning with an orientation at 8:30, and end around 12:00 noon.
You'll be trained and supervised by a trained planting supervisor, and all tools and materials will be provided by Ojai Trees.
Wear work clothes and a hat, bring your own gloves, sunscreen and water. Masks are encouraged if you need/desire to wear one.
