Rain, Rain, We love the rain and hoping Ojai valley residents are making the most of the rain that has fallen. What does that mean? That can mean something as easy as creating places for the much needed rain to accumulate and soak into the ground (instead of running off your property and out into the street.) No one wants rain inside your house but there are many ways to slow the flow without endangering your home. Here are some fabulous resources to help with your research and begin “harvesting the rains.” The first one in our list is an excellent site developed by Brad Lancaster (who many may remember visited our valley courtesy of the Ojai Green Valley Coalition).

Harvesting the rain is a easy to understand low-tech resource for bios wales and passive water collection you can do yourself. This set also offers two great handbooks with extensive, highly researched information.
